<Speech> has preserved a device that plays 12 famous speeches in audio. It encompasses speeches ranging from Adolf Hitler's 1935 speech at the Krupp factory to actress Emma Watson's UN gender equality speech in 2018, including BTS's UN speech from the same year, among other politically, socially, and artistically significant speeches. During certain intervals, 6 speeches are played simultaneously, alternating with the remaining 6 speeches, thus reproducing the collective voice of contemporary humanity. The speech topics cover both positive and negative aspects of contemporary humanity, such as declarations of war, peace restoration, human rights improvement, gender equality, and technological optimism. However, since most of the positive topics aim to overcome the negatives of contemporary humanity, in essence, the speech topics directly or indirectly reveal the dark side of humanity. The original author takes a stance where future humanity examines the grim aspects of contemporary humanity. This reflects one of the attitudes towards extinct humanity.
